Following his latest win, Adiwang already has his sights set on potential future matchups, naming Chinese standout “Wolf Warrior” Hu Yong as his preferred next opponent.
“I think for now the number one is Hu Yong,” Adiwang said in a media interaction.
Adiwang’s decision to shift his focus back to flyweight also effectively cools long-standing fan discussions surrounding a potential all-Filipino showdown with reigning strawweight champion Joshua Pacio, a matchup that has generated significant interest due to their shared history.
